I am a Swedish British artist, organiser, curator and educator based in South London. Since graduating in 2014 with an MFA in Photographic Art from Valand Academy in Sweden, I returned to London and have exhibited across the UK and internationally. I also hold a BA (Hons) in Photography from the University for the Creative Arts at Farnham.
Characterised by its reflexivity, my photographic practice is simultaneously an exploration of photography through myself and an exploration of myself through photography; this manifests through the practice and display of printmaking, sculpture and installation.
In 2021 I presented my first UK solo exhibition, curated two exhibitions of emerging artists and took part in my first museum exhibition—my installation Mirrors for Photography was included in the group exhibition Time, Place, Room at Preus Museum, the Norwegian Museum of Photography.
Other recent exhibitions include: Desemberutstilling, NOUA Bodø Norway (2021); Superpositions, Staffordshire Street London for South Bermondsey Art Trail (2021); The sad eyed chameleon, volcano grey, Staffordshire Street London for London Gallery Weekend (2021); Without You My Life Would Be Boring, Staffordshire Street London for South Bermondsey Art Trail (2020); pool (ii) (in collaboration with Sonja Thomsen), Balconnection Festival Izmir Turkey (2020); Photography & _____ (in collaboration with Sonja Thomsen), Catherine Edelman Gallery Chicago (2020); Who’s Looking at the Family, Now? curated by Tim Clark, Photo50 London (2019); Uncertain States Scandinavia, NRW-Forum Düsseldorf (2019); Rehearsing the Real curated by Tom Lovelace, Peckham 24 (2019); Translate/Transmission, LOOK Photo Biennial Satellite Programme Liverpool (2019); In Dialogue with Strömholm, Dorothée Nilsson Gallery Berlin (2018); Salong CFF, Centrum för fotografi Stockholm (2018); Field/s ONE, Sluice HQ London (2018) Brighton Photo Fringe Open18 Solo Shortlist Showcase, Outdoor Hub Brighton (2018); Photoworks Presents: Collaborate, Free Range London (2018).
